About these terms
These terms explain the conditions for using isleofwight.builders. They do not treat browsing as consent to personal-data processing or optional tracking. Personal-data handling is explained in the Privacy Policy, and optional tracking is controlled separately through Manage cookies.
1. Website operator
Isle of Wight Builders is a public-facing brand and marketing and enquiry-introduction website operated by Ready Set Punk! LTD.
Ready Set Punk! LTD is responsible for its own advertising, website operation, introductions and handling of personal data. It does not carry out or supervise building work.
2. The introduction service
You may use the website to ask for an introduction to DC Building Contractors. Sending an enquiry does not itself create a building contract, guarantee that DC Building Contractors will accept the enquiry or guarantee a particular quotation or outcome.
Any service message confirming receipt of an enquiry is not a quotation or acceptance of building work.
3. Your relationship with DC Building Contractors
DC Building Contractors provides quotations and enters into building contracts directly with homeowners. It carries out and supervises the work and is responsible for its pricing, workmanship, timetable and contractual guarantees.
Before agreeing to work, check DC Building Contractors' legal identity, insurance, quotation, written terms, cancellation information and the scope and conditions of any guarantee.
4. Acceptable use
Use the website lawfully and provide accurate information. Do not submit fraudulent enquiries, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the website or introduce malicious code.
5. Website information
We take reasonable care over information we publish, but general website content is not a substitute for DC Building Contractors' site-specific assessment, quotation or written contract. Availability, scope and price must be confirmed by DC Building Contractors.
Where the website identifies an image as illustrative or representative, do not treat it as proof of DC Building Contractors' work. Review, insurance, guarantee and qualification claims should be read with their stated attribution and conditions.
6. Responsibility and liability
DC Building Contractors is responsible for the building work and for obligations under each building contract it enters into. Ready Set Punk! LTD remains responsible for its own acts or omissions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
7. Third-party services and links
Third-party websites and services have their own terms and privacy information. A link or technical integration does not transfer Ready Set Punk! LTD's responsibility for its own selection, instructions or data handling, and does not make Ready Set Punk! LTD responsible for DC Building Contractors' building work.
8. Availability and changes
We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance or misuse. We may update these Terms and will show the revision date here. A revised term will not retrospectively change an existing building contract with DC Building Contractors.
9. Law and consumer rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any mandatory protection or any right you may have to bring proceedings in another court under applicable law.
